MoI donates cash to Mingala Youths Development Parahita School in Twantay Township, inspects MRTV’s live broadcasting programme

The MoI Union Minister and the Yangon Region advocate-general comfort the trainees at the Mingala Youths Development Parahita School in Twantay Township yesterday.

The Ministry of Information donated cash for lunch, books and journals for the students of Mingala Youths Development Parahita School in Twantay Township of Yangon Region yesterday.
First, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Yangon Region Advocate-General U Htay Aung and party arrived at the Parahita school and took Five Precepts from Sayadaw Bhaddanta Ardissa Vumsa. They donated to the Sayadaws and offered day meals to Sayadaws and provided lunch for the trainees.
Then, the Union minister and the advocate-general comforted trainees of the Parahita school. They donated K1 million for lunch, K500,000 for the Parahita school and journals published by Sarpay Beikman for trainees.
Then, MRTV artistes and invited performers entertained them.
The Mingala Parahita School was established on 28 May 1999 and the 3rd level Parahita School is recognized by the Social Welfare Department. It has 100 children – 22 infants, 29 primary school students, 29 middle school students, 15 high school students and five university students.
The Union minister also inspected the live broadcasting of the Friday Night Live Show at MRTV on Pyay Road of Yangon on Friday and cordially greeted the artistes, producers and journalists.
When he met them, he instructed them to make efforts to entertain the public to keep their mind active and work together to develop in respective fields as the arts become broader. —MNA
