Tun Tun Min wins Championship title in MLWC-7

The Myanmar Traditional Boxing (Lethwei) World Championship named MLWC-7, which has been held annually since 2016, took place yesterday at Theinbyu Traditional Boxing Hall.
In the competition, the champions of Myanmar fought against the champions of various foreign countries at different levels.
In the 80 kg, Myanmar’s defending Lethwei Champion Tun Tun Min beat Hamed Soleimani of Iran in the first round and won the Championship trophy of Myanmar Lethwei World Championship-7.
In the 60 kilo, Myanmar’s Saw Ba Hein fight to a draw against Thearith Ouch of Cambodia. In the 63.5 kg, Ae Mwe of Myanmar beat Jake Oliver of New Zealand in the first round. In the 67 kg, Min Htet Aung of Myanmar fought to a draw against Alan Yauny of Argentina. In the 70 kg, Myanmar’s star fighter Soe Lin Oo vs Wijit of Thailand bout was finished draw.
In the special women’s challenging bout, May Thazin Htoo fought against Than Thar Nyeint Nyaoung from ATM 2 Club and their bout was ended as a draw.
