Myanmar delegate explains current true events of Myanmar at Dili Dialogue Forum

The Dili Dialogue Forum under the title of Media Challenges in Timor-Leste and Southeast Asia took place in Timor-Leste on 25 and 26 August, attended by member of Myanmar Press Council U Aye Chan, on behalf of the MPC Chairman, together with chairs of media councils from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
In the first day session of the forum, President of Timor-Leste Dr José Ramos-Horta warmly welcomed the delegates including Myanmar. At the forum, U Aye Chan of Myanmar caught the attention of all delegations with his presentation on current events in Myanmar with the use of figures.
The attendees expressed their astonishment over the presentation at the forum in comparison with the fake news of Myanmar mentioned in the international media.
Myanmar delegate U Aye Chan arrived back in Yangon on 27 August.—MNA
