4-hour power rotation system in Hline Township following explosion of RIR substation

The RIR substation in Hline Township of Yangon Region was attacked with explosives at 8 pm on 4 September, according to the statement of Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation.
The explosion destroyed Radiator including three 30 MVA   transformers and one 20 MVA transformer and caused power outages, it said.
The YESC did repair work to supply power as usual, but they still conduct maintenance work for the (66/11-6.6) kV, 20 MVA transformer at the RIR substation, it added.
Therefore, there will be a four-hour power rotation system for two groups – Group A: No 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16 wards in Hline Township and No 3 ward in Mayangon Township and Group B: No 7, 9, 10, 13, 16 wards in Hline Township and No 2 and 3 wards in Mayangon Township. — TWA/GNLM
