MoIC Union Minister meets MISIS executive board

Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing holds the meeting with the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies-MISIS yesterday.

Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing of the Ministry of International Cooperation delivered the opening remarks at the meeting with the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS), which was held at the meeting room of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon) at 2 pm on 28 October 2022.
In his speech, the Union minister shed the light on the ministry’s cooperation with the countries in the region, the members of ASEAN and the United Nations, and the process of implementation of humanitarian assistance management.
He also updated the current affairs in the region and the world, as a whole. Furthermore, the Union minister urged MISIS to expand research activities in the future in order to contribute to the national interests with suggestions and recommendations from academic points of view.
Then, the Chair and members of the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies clarified their undertaking tasks, operational activities and developments of the MISIS. – MNA
