Tickets worth over K3,900 million sold in 45th Aung Bar Lay lottery

Lottery tickets worth more than K3,900 million were sold for the 45th Aung Bar Lay Lottery in November and sales increased over the previous month, according to a statement from the Aung Bar Lay Branch of the Internal Revenue Department.
Over 3.9 million tickets were sold in November earning approximately K3,911 million. It has been announced that more than K2,700 million, 70 per cent of the sales, will be distributed as lottery prizes. Lottery ticket sales in October amounted to over K3,700 million.
The prizes include one K500 million prize, one K100 million prize and K50 million, K20 million, K10 million, K5 million, K2 million and K1 million prizes. In addition, Wai Wai Sar Sar Padetha’s prizes are K300,000, K200,000, K100,000, K50,000 and K10,000. K1 million, K300,000, K200,000 and K100,000 prizes from the confiscated prices will also be awarded.
The Aung Bar Lay Branch has had a declining sales rate – just over 2 million ticket sales – since 2021. Now, the sales rate has been increasing. According to the lottery agents, Yangon Region, Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Region, Rakhine State and Bago Region are the areas with the biggest sales of Aung Bar Lat Lottery. — TWA/GNLM
