Naungtarlaw island resort crowded with vacationers on Christmas

During the Christmas holiday on 25 December, the small island resort of Naungtarlaw was packed with visitors who came via Myitkyina city’s Kyun Pintha jetty and Kachinsu jetty are corwded with travellers.
The visitors took photos with groups of friends at beauty spots at the resort, rode four-wheel motorcycles, played volleyball and soccer and took a ride in speed boats in the Ayeyawady River. Then, camps and traditional restaurants on the beach were crowded with vacationers.
An official of the management sub-committee of the resort said that it was Christmas Day and the office was closed and so there were more visitors than on the previous holiday. — Yein Nu(IPRD)/KZW
