MoH Union Minister receives Bangladeshi Ambassador

The ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar calls on Union Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win received the delegation headed by Bangladeshi Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
They discussed issues of promoting cooperation in the health sector of the two countries, the appointing of the director of the World Health Organization Southeast Asian Regional Office, and the enabling of registering and distributing medicines and medical products manufactured by Bangladesh in Myanmar.
They also frankly exchanged views on sending health representatives to each country, and measures of prevention, control and treatment of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The deputy minister, the directors-general, the deputy permanent secretary and officials attended the meeting. — MNA/TS
