Deputy Information Minister inspects information activities in eastern Shan State

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint meets students and teachers from BEHS No4 and No5 in Kengtung yesterday.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint of the Ministry of Information inspected the Mongpan and Mongton Retransmission Stations of the Myanmar Radio and Television on 15 January and met employees at the office of the Information and Public Relations Department.
Similarly, the deputy minister also met staff from township IPRDs after observing retransmission stations at Tachilek, Tarlay and Mongphyat districts on 16 January. He continued the inspection of the district IPRDs and retransmission stations and met district heads and staff.
In the afternoon, the deputy minister reached No 4 and 5 Basic Education High Schools of Kengtung and instructed teachers to train students so that they would become citizens the country can rely on. Sports equipment provided by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and books for school libraries were given to officials by the deputy minister afterwards.
In the evening, he met officials in charge of the eastern Shan State IPRD and retransmission stations, and the responsible person of the Newspaper Sub-Printing House in Kengtung at the eastern Shan State IPRD office and left the necessary instructions.
The deputy minister encouraged the staff to serve as faithful and responsible civil servants, and do what they have to do accordingly for the good of the public.
