No fine for city taxi registration: YRTC

City taxi registration is being done in Yangon without collecting fines according to the Yangon Region Public Transport Committee.
Those who want to renew their licence will have to pay K3,000 for the licence renewal fee, K600 for the driver’s card, K3,500 for the card stand and K1,400 for the city taxi number sticker, totalling K8,500.
City taxi registration is done to provide clean and safe services to local and foreign travellers as per city characteristics, according to the YRTC. City taxi registration renewal is being done at Yangon City Taxi Association office on Panglong Road, Dagon Myothit (North) Township, Yangon Region. — TWA/KZW
