Drugs seized in Myeik and Kengtung townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a man called Barlat (aka) Zarni Htun in Myeik (South) ward in Myeik at 2 pm on 23 February and found 2,000 stimulant tablets with him.
At noon on the same day, members of the Police Force searched a motorbike driven by Lawthar accompanied by Ah Sot near Wammai (new ward) in Kengtung township and found 20,200 stimulant tablets.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
