MoHT Union Minister receives Russian delegation of Fund RC-Investments

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Aung Thaw received the delegation led by Mr Alexander Sergeevich Shatirov, Director of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation on the morning of 13 March 2023 at the Nilar Hall of the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, the director of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation said that he wanted complete package tours to be arranged for Russian tourists and that the Ross Congress would cooperate with Myanmar to develop the tourism sectors of the two countries and to extend assistance in promoting Myanmar.
The Union Minister said that the “Welcome Russia” programme for tourism in Myanmar is currently being drawn up, that a comprehensive package tour is being prepared for submission to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, that the Ministry of Transport and Communications is also taking measures to operate direct flights between the two countries and that necessary arrangements will be made to facilitate the purchase of health insurance by Russian tourists. — MNA/KZW
