Precautionary measures underway in Buthidaung

The preventive measures were being taken by the township-level departments and social rescue groups led by the Township Natural Disaster Management Committee in order to systematically launch rescue operations in time in case of a natural disaster in Buthidaung township, Rakhine State.
There are ten village-tracts, 128 households and 806 residents that may be affected severely by a natural disaster.
Rakhine State government stored up basic foodstuffs including rice, and palm oil for evacuated residents and the Township Natural Disaster Management Committee stocked up 16 kinds of goods for 200 households. — Township IPRD/MKKS
