MoE Union Minister observes opening of basic education schools for 2023-2024 academic year, with students studying peacefully

Accompanied by Director-General of the Basic Education Department U Kyaw Swa Thwin, Director-General of the Department of Alternative Education and Life Long Learning U Kyaw Win and officials from the Basic Education Department, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe yesterday morning viewed the opening status of basic education schools in Nay Pyi Taw for the 2023-2024 academic year and students studying peacefully.
First, the Union minister and party arrived at the No 11 Basic Education High School in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, and observed the students studying in their classrooms, met with teachers, and fulfilled the requirements.
In the meeting, the Union minister said that students should have good goals and objectives and study regularly from the beginning of the academic year to achieve these goals and take special care of their health. He also urged teachers to work together to train students to become good, able and educated, treat the students without any discrimination, and teach them to have a sense of patriotism and love for the country and to be good-mannered.
Finally, the Union minister and party visited Nos 9 and 10 Basic Education High Schools in Zabuthiri Township to see the students learning in peace and fulfilled the requirements of the schools. — MNA/CT
