XII ASEAN Paralympic Games: Myanmar wins two golds, two silvers, two bronzes in track & field

Sports events of the XII ASEAN Paralympic Games were held at Morodok Techo National Stadium Complex in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 5 June.
Myanmar’s Soe Pe secured one gold medal in the Men’s 100-Metre Race Event of track and field while Maung Lin garnered another gold for Myanmar in the Men’s 800-Metre Race Event.
Wai Wai Thin grabbed one silver medal for Myanmar in the Women’s 400-Metre Race Event while Law La Win won another silver in the Women’s 400-Metre Race Event.
Next, Nanda Lin picked one bronze medal for Myanmar in the Women’s 400-Metre Race Event while Aung Myint Htay gained another bronze in the Men’s 100-Metre Race Event.
After the competitions, the awarding ceremony continued, and the gold, silver and bronze medallists were awarded by Maj-Gen Hla Moe, chairman of the Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation and officials. — MNA/KZL
