Myanmar men’s national football team celebrated a 2-0 victory over Macau in the FIFA International Friendly Match played at Dalian Pro Soccer Academy Base Stadium in Dalian, China yesterday.
Team Myanmar, which had been missing a series of wins in FIFA international friendly matches, launched a solid attack in this match.
The speedy play of Myanmar upset the Macau side from the start.
The stunning strategies of two Myanmar players: Lwin Moe Aung and Maung Maung Lwin worked well in this match.
Myanmar found an opener when Lwin Moe Aung beautifully touched the ball into the net at the 23-minute mark.
The Myanmar team’s performance increased significantly after breaking the deadlock.
Team Myanmar had several opportunities, but due to the weak finishing of the forwarders, chances were not seen as goals.
The 45 minutes of the first half were completed while team Myanmar kept putting pressure on Macau.
In the second half, team Macau played harder, but could not overcome the goal-hungry Myanmar.
Macau was forced to play in the back row to stop Myanmar from scoring more goals.
But the winning or second goal for Myanmar was scored by Maung Maung Lwin in the 90+4 minute.
This victory was able to destroy the losing streak of the Myanmar team in international competitions. — KZL
