Ice, stimulant tablets and heroin worth K10+ bln seized in Mandalay

The Myanmar Police Force reported the seizure of over K10.28 billion worth of illegal substances, including Ice (methamphetamine), stimulant tablets, and heroin in Chanmyathazi township of Mandalay Region.
Acting on a tip-off, a collaborative team from the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted a search at the residence of Aung Kyaw Moe, Ma Theingi Win, and Ma Aye Thida in Chanmyathazi township at 12 pm on 15 December. The operation resulted in the confiscation of four kilogrammes of Ice, 8,050 stimulant tablets, and two motorbikes.
Subsequent investigations led the Police Force to Aung Htwe’s house in Chanmyathazi township at 9:30 pm on the same day, where a staggering 120 kilogrammes of Ice, 4,514,000 stimulant tablets, and 40.7 kilogrammes of heroin were seized.
Legal actions have been initiated against the offenders, and an ongoing investigation is in progress to apprehend all individuals involved in the case. — MNA/MKKS
