Malicious news media named Khit Thit media is spreading false information that the security forces entered Kanswe village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, on 5 February, and the security forces set fire to the village because PDF terrorists attacked the village with a drone and about 300 people who were hiding in the monastery were taken as hostages.
There was reportedly an encounter between the security forces operating in the area near the village and PDF terrorists, and the local people were not arrested by the security forces. —MNA/KZL
