300+ Japanese companies to recruit 900+ Myanmar workers

Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo announced on 15 February that over 300 Japanese companies would recruit over 900 Myanmar workers.
The embassy gave the data on 302 job offers between 1 and 15 February, which were sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after verification.
These offers include jobs for over 300 men, over 600 women and over 900 Myanmar nationals in total.
The statement also said that the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo is reviewing the demand letters sent by the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a timely manner.
After verifying the legal establishment of labour supervising agencies and recruitment factories and companies in Japan, together with relevant documents, its findings and comments were returned to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Four hundred sixteen demand letters from 16 to 31 January would recruit over 400 men, over 900 women and over 1300 Myanmar nationals in total, the embassy said. – MT/ZN
