Marine surveying activities in EEZ to be carried out until 19 February

The Department of Fisheries recently announced that marine surveying activities will be conducted within the Myanmar Exclusive Economic Zone-EEZ until 19 February.

In order to continue the Myanmar-Singapore underwater fibre cable connection to Bangladesh, marine measurement works are being carried out by Campana Mythic Company Limited in the EEZ from 12 to 19 February.

Maritime warnings have already been issued for ships, cargo vessels, fishing trawlers, motor schooners in order not to cause delays in operation during the operation period.—TWA/MKKS/TTA
