MMPO hosts gathering party of film course trainees (1956-2019)

A gathering for trainees from film courses spanning 1956 to 2019 took place at the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization in Bahan Township, Yangon Region, at 10 am on 9th April, according to Patron U Aung Lwin of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization.
The gathering was attended by U Kyi Soe Tun, Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization, Vice-Chairman U Aye Kyu Lay, director Academy Zinyaw Maung Maung, Academy Swe Zin Hitke, Academy Khant Si Thu, Academy Khaing Khin Oo, and other actors, scriptwriters, and directors.
Speaking at the event, U Aung Lwin highlighted its significance in the history of film. He noted that while some have passed away, many former trainees have become prominent figures in the film industry. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to preserving the film heritage as it evolves.
The Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization has been conducting film courses for actors, actresses, scriptwriters, directors, editors, and industrial workers for 78 years, aiming to nurture new talent over generations.
