Acceptance of applications for teacher training in deaf education commences

A teacher is teaching the children from the Mary Chapman School for the Deaf.

The Mary Chapman School for the Deaf is currently accepting applications for a one-and-a-half-year teacher training course designed for working with children who have hearing disabilities.
To be eligible for the course, applicants must be graduates from any university and fall between the ages of 25 and 40.
The training will cover essential subjects such as disability concepts, sign language, and child psychology, taught through both theoretical and practical approaches. The course is scheduled to commence on 15 September this year and conclude on 31 March 2025.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications to the Mary Chapman School for the Deaf, located at No 2, Thantaman Street, Dagon Township, Yangon Region, no later than 1 September. — TWA/CT
