Art exhibition marking 93rd birthday of artist U Lun Gywe held

An art exhibition commemorating the 93rd birthday of painter U Lun Gywe was organized at the Artist Life Art Gallery in North Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region, on 25 September, according to artist U Lun Thit, one of the organizers of the exhibition.
The event displayed a total of 86 paintings and strokes of artist U Lun Gywe.
“We started to arrange this exhibition six months ago. We arranged for the people to observe a variety of Sayagyi’s artworks in one place. I make it a field of art that he created. Although we successfully organized the event, Sayagyi could not receive the visitors because of his health. We displayed 86 paintings,” said artist U Lun Thit.
The pupils of Sayagyi Dr U Lun Gywe, colleagues, artists and media friends joined the event. — ASH/KTZH
