Athletes who competed in 17th Southeast Asia Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships come back home

The Myanmar honourable athletes who competed in the 17th Southeast Asia Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships, held from 8 to 12 June, in Batam, Indonesia arrived back at the Yangon International Airport yesterday afternoon.
Chairman of the Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physical Fitness Sports Federation, officials, and the public welcomed back the athletes.
The Myanmar Sports Team includes team Administrator U Kyaw Than, Coach U Min Zaw Oo, and athletes: Pyae Phyo (55-kilogramme event), Aung Than Htay (80-kg event), Hein Htet Kyaw (85-kg event), Hein Htet Zaw (Men’s Athletic Physique 165-centimetre event), Nyein Chan (Men’s Sports Physique 175cm event), and Mi Mi Kyaw Naing (Women’s Model Physique 160-cm event)
Nyein Chan won first place in the Men’s Athletic Physique 175 cm event, while Hein Htet Zaw garnered third in the Men’s Athletic Physique 165 cm event.
Next, Mi Mi Kyaw Naing grabbed second place in the Women’s Model Physique 160 cm, and Hein Htet Zaw, and Mi Mi Kyaw Naing secured third place in the Mixed Pair event.
In turn, Pyae Phyo gained second place in the 55-kg event while Aung Than Htay also won the second in the 80-kg event.
Hein Htet Kyaw secured the third in the 85-kg event.
Myanmar won one gold, three silver and three bronze medals in the 17th Southeast Asia Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships. — MNA/KZL
