To apply for attestation from the Myanmar Embassy in the Republic of Korea, applicants can come in person on a basis of two days a week, the embassy announced on February 27.

Myanmar nationals who have been working in the Republic of Korea and want to seek attestation for documents from Myanmar at the embassy in Seoul can come in person from 2:00 to 4:00 on every Tuesday and Thursday, along with the original notary, a copy of notarized documents (for example, a copy of the certification of the matriculation exam), a passport copy and an ID card copy.

They can take it on the appointment date issued by the embassy, in person or through a person on their behalf.

A power of attorney is required to take the attestation through a representative within the appointment date, said the embassy.

Myanmar workers have been sent to the Republic of Korea under POEA-EPS system and there is growing interest among Myanmar workers to go to work in that country.

In the 16th TOPIK Test, the 7th marking employment system, which will be held in 2024, recruitment of Myanmar workers will be extended in the Republic of Korea’s service industry and both male and female are eligible to join the test for the first time.
