Starting from 1 October, Myanmar-China border crossings in Muse, Shan State (North), will allow entry and exit of travellers holding an official Business Visa.
On the morning of 1 October, U Ye Yint Tun, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Muse District of Myanmar, regional and township officials, together with Mr Shang La Sian, the Mayor of Ruili, China and other representatives joined the launching of the official visa entry programme at the Nandaw checkpoint on the Muse-Ruili border.
Furthermore, Mr Wu Chunming, a Chinese citizen, was granted entry and exit privileges with an official Business Visa, and he received a welcome from officials on both sides. To ensure the smooth continuation of his journey to Lashio, Myanmar officials also arranged transport and hotel accommodation for him.
