Construction Deputy Minister inspects road development, Central Training School in Yangon Region

Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe accompanied by departmental officials, inspected the working process on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway (Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon) Road Milestone (75) 1 and 2 and checked the condition of the Kyan Creek Bridge access road on 22 April.
Regarding the road boundary of Mile Post (76) parking lot, Director-General Hla Tun Oo from the Road Department explained the step-by-step procedures.
The Deputy Minister instructed the responsible persons to prioritize tourists’ safety and follow the road boundaries, installation of directional warning signs to reduce traffic accidents and meet the specified standards.
After that, he inspected the construction site of Mile Post (26-0) and ordered the necessary work.
Next, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the No. (7) (City Circular Road) Mile (1/7-10/0) in Hlegu Township, Yangon North District.
Deputy Director of Yangon Region Director Office U Htin Kyaw explained the repairing the damaged area of ​​the asphalt road within 1/7-5/2 miles, construction of 40 feet wide earth turret within 8/4-8/7 miles, construction of 24 feet wide concrete paving and RCC Box Culvert being carried out by the Road Department.
After that, the deputy minister and party arrived at Central Training School (Thuwunna), and Principal (Urban) Director U Pyae Phyo Se explained the needs of the training school.
Deputy Minister urged officials to form Central Committee for Training and Supervision and Teaching sub-committee according to the training sub-schools.
“According to the motto of the Central Training School (Thuwunna) named “We must improve through quantity to training”, it is necessary to continuously acquire qualified staff and carry out construction work in line with the theme of speed-good-convenience,” the Deputy Minister said.
Afterwards, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the renovated teaching hall and trainees’ dormitories. —MNA
