Denial; False information Tatmadaw uses chemical gas bomb

False information that Tatmadaw has used chemical gas bombs in clashes with AA terrorist group in Chin State’s Paletwa township when it launched air strikes has been circulating on social media pages by malicious media outlets, the State Administration Council issued a statement on 4 December.

Tatmadaw has carried out counterattack against AA terrorists by using heavy weapons and air strikes along with soldiers’ brave and effective fight, resulting many casualties in AA and disheartening them, therefore they are spreading such false news with the help of malicious media, said the statement.

It continued that Tatmadaw uses no chemical gas bomb when it launches air strikes in all fights and Tatmadaw will continue carrying out counter-terrorist operations to ensure security and rule of law of the area. Thit Taw/ZS
