DR provides short-term loans to small business owners, including disabled businesspersons

The Department of Rehabilitation announced that short-term loans will be provided to small business owners, including disabled business owners, and the deadline for application date is 24 March.
A short-term loan with a loan term of three years was lent by the Department of Rehabilitation to microfinance institutions, to be able to provide disabled people and organizations with the interest earned by investing in a revolving fund for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The three-year short-term loan (one-year pending period, two-year repayment period) will also be used by microfinance institutions to grant loans to small business owners including disabled business owners.
In the process, at least 10 per cent of the loan amount must be given priority to businessmen with disabilities, and microfinance institutions with total entitlement above K10 billion will have to fill out the loan amount and the interest rate that can be given on the loan in the attached loan application and submitted along with it.
Documents can be applied in person at the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Office No 23 in Nay Pyi Taw by 24 March 2023, stated by the Department of Rehabilitation.— TWA/CT
