Union Minister U Aung Than Oo views round control room of Thilawa power station

Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Aung Than Oo made an inspection tour to No (1) Oil Refinery (Thanlyin), Thilawa Power Station and 230 KV Thilawa Substation yesterday morning in Yangon.
During the inspection tour, officials from the No (1) Oil Refinery reported to the Union Minster on the work process of the oil/lubricant mixing plant and the factory manager of the Thilawa Power Station and 230 KV Thilawa Substation explained the information of the plant and the substation, operation of the generators and electricity supply.
The Union Minister instructed them to regularly inspect the fitness of power plants for the long-term sustainability of power plant and full power operation of substation generators as well as to pay attention to the safety of electricity and prevention of power outages.—MNA
