Electricity transmission to be enhanced in Yangon

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun stated plans to expand power production to meet the Yangon Region’s electricity demand.
The Union minister made these remarks during a business coordination meeting aimed at reducing power loss to stabilize and enhance the power system in the Yangon Region at the meeting hall of the Yangon Region Electricity Supply Corporation headquarters, on 10 October. During the meeting, district electricity managers and engineers in the Yangon Region discussed actions to be taken in the future.
Finally, the Union minister focused on increased transmission of electricity and enhancing the balance between reducing power loss and improving power system stability. — MNA/KZW
