Foodstuffs, vegetables sold at low prices to Mocha victims in Sittway

Sittway resident are seen buying foodstuffs at low prices yesterday.

For the convenience of the residents and departmental staff in Sittway hit by Cyclone Mocha, rice, edible oil, salt, meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, onions, garlic, instant noodles, and biscuits produced by the military factories, canned beef, canned peas and bamboo shoots, canned chicken and potatoes, various canned fish curry, and various canned vegetable curry were sold at prices lower than the market prices by the military personnel and officials from Western Command at the U Ottama Park in Sittway yesterday.
Residents and families of the departmental staff reportedly enjoyed buying and they are very grateful to officials for selling them at low prices in times of difficulty. — MNA/CT
