Four men charged for making arson attacks in Bago Region

The insurgents set fire to the township administration office of No (7) ward in Aye Mya Thar Yar village-tract of the Okpo Township of Bago Region. The damages were announced on 28 May.
After investigation, security forces arrested four suspects: Tin Nyunt, former ward administrator of Aye Mya Thar Yar village-tract, who lives in No (1) Ward, NLD supporter Win Maung, and Chit Htike Thu and Aung Zin Htet from No (1) Ward.
The four suspects, including Tin Nyunt, a former administrator, will face legal actions for committing arson attacks to affect the administrative machinery of the State and intimidate the public.—MNA
