The graduation ceremony of Township Deputy Judge Training Course No 31, award-giving ceremony, handover of assignments and oath-taking ceremony were held at the Union Supreme Court yesterday.
Speaking at the ceremonies, Union Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo said the outstanding trainees can uplift dignity individually in addition to personal skills such as talent, endeavour and studying. The remaining judicial officials should look up to these outstanding trainees and try hard to be skilful in judiciary processes. They should apply the experience in practical sections and make the decision based on their critical thinking as per procedural guidelines with examples of law and rules.
The Union Chief Justice then underscored the need to adopt proper practices for every case including evidence management, avoid corruption and bribery and keep studying the judiciary strategic plans and English Language.
The Union Chief Justice and judges of the Union Supreme Court presented awards to outstanding trainees and assignment letters to township deputy judges who completed the No 31 training course. The judicial officers took oath in the presence of the Union Chief Justice and judges of the Union Supreme Court.
The ceremony was attended by the Union Chief Justice and judges of the Union Supreme Court, the permanent secretary, directors-general, deputy permanent secretary and other relevant officials, trainers and 80 trainees. — MNA/KTZH
