Illegal foodstuff seized in Bago Region

Under the supervision of the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee, effective action is being taken to prevent illegal trade in accordance with the law.
Under the supervision of Anti-Trafficking Task Force from Bago Region, and leadership of the Customs Department, officials made an inspection between Nyaungkhashe and DaikU near 19/6th-mile of road and 30 packages of 25-kilo FUFENG brand seasonal powder packets without documents in two passenger vehicles (Toyota Hiace), 75 packs of LIPO Vitan-D, 80 packs of Lactasoy and 29 packs of Sue Sat brand soap worth a total of K3,385,000 were seized.
According to the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee, action is being taken in accordance with the procedures of the Customs Department.—MNA
