Labour Dept warns to beware of fraudulent job offers from Malaysia

The Department of Labour under the Ministry of Labour cautions to beware of fraudulent job offers from Malaysia because illegal agencies in Malaysia are making and selling fraudulent job offers.
The Department of Labour warns that the illegal agencies in Malaysia are sending the workers and these scammers are selling the demand letters to agencies in Myanmar, Indonesia and Bangladesh. And then the Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies should be careful because the scammers cheat not only locally but also from abroad depending on the labour market.
Additionally, the Department of Labour warns the Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies, which is cheated by the scammers, will be revoked if they do not pay back the service fee collected in advance from the workers to be sent. The statement also describes that agencies, that were found guilty and revoked, may lose the deposited money, and it is more secure to be real demand letters that the QR code is on the KDN or KSM Approval letters.
The Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies, which are sending workers to Malaysia, have been informed to be careful and when they receive the demand letters, they have to directly connect with the employers, who want to call the workers. — TWA/MKKS
