Landslide protection work inspected in Ayeyawady Region

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San made an inspection tour of landslide protection works yesterday in Ayeyawady Region.
Firstly, the Union minister inspected the Yankinsanyar jetty in 3 Ward of Nyaungdon township and the situation of the temporary protection work to alleviate landslides under the jetty before firm protection work is carried out.
He gave the necessary instructions after officials presented reports on their work implementation in detail.
Afterwards, the Union minister met officials from the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Hinthada township. He urged them to fulfil the ministry’s housing needs, make cleaning activities in offices and housing compound in addition to paying special attention to security.
At noon, the Union minister inspected the landslide protection work at the Satumukha Stupa in Lemyethna township and gave instructions where necessary.—MNA
