Laos transfers 200 Myanmar migrant workers via Tachilek

Myanmar officials received 200 Myanmar migrant workers from Laos via Wanbon port in Mong Phone (Kagyi) Village-tract of Tachilek Township yesterday.
The returnees included 119 males and 81 females. The officials tested them using RDT Test Kit and five people- two males and three females were tested positive for covid-19. The positive patients are now under medical treatment at Wang Lone treatment centre of Tachilek Township.
The remaining 195 negative patients will be tested for a second time after two days and they will be sent to their respective regions and states if their results show negative.
The tenth transfer of Myanmar migrant workers from Laos arrived yesterday and District Administrative Officer U Myint Naing and departmental officials warmly welcomed the returnees. — Yar Say (IPRD)/GNLM
