Many people love art in the country, and the art market has been good. And artworks by famous local artists have been sold pretty well to those who collect paintings and those who give presents.
“Paintings are being sold. This is the time the sale of paintings gets high. All kinds of paintings have good sales,” said an official from 3 Colours art gallery. In Myanmar, there are loads of famous artists’ artworks which are modernized and classic. Some people want to use these artworks for decoration in their houses and offices, so the sale is not likely to decline.
“There are painting lovers in all eras. They will always be forever. No matter how advanced technologies become advanced, paintings drawn by human beings will not deplete. Now paintings are being sold, and it can be said that the sale is good. We don’t know about overseas buyers, but the market is fine inside the country.
