MoI conveys financial aid from SAC Chairman to support flood victims, Hlegu TWA

The handover ceremony of cash assistance provided by the State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister for the members of the Hlegu Township Writers’ Association, who were affected by the flood, was held at the Mingala Hall of the Yangon Region Government Office yesterday.
First, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said the cash assistance was provided by the SAC Chairman Prime Minister to the Hlegu Township Writers’ Association which was affected by the flood. The government sets the plans to ensure the peace and stability of the country and develop the socioeconomic status of the people.
The government assists the members of the literary field and the doyen literati as much as it can, and the literati and writers should describe true news and correct information for the State and the people against misinformation and fake news to escape from the dangers due to the false news regarding the situations in Shan State (North).
Then, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein explained the timely assistance during the flood, the opening of relief camps and future work plans to prevent the floods.
The Union minister and the regional chief minister presented cash assistance provided by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to the relevant officials.
Then, the Hlegu Township Writers’ Association chairman expressed gratitude for cash assistance. — MNA/KTZH
