The Chinese Special Envoy for Asian Affairs calls on Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing.

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Deng Xijun, Special Envoy of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw friendship, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects on the basis of mutual benefit, closer coordination for the smooth flow of border trade, promotion of trade and commerce between Myanmar and China, the implementation of repatriation of verified displaced persons from Rakhine State as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest. — MNA
