MoPF UM attends 74th anniversary of founding of People’s Republic of China

The ceremony to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China was held yesterday evening at the Amarapura Hall of the Wyndham Grand Yangon and was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein and his wife.
The ceremony was opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Myanmar and the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China.
Ms Cao Jing, chargé d’affaires ai of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Myanmar, then extended her greetings.
Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, together with Ms Cao Jing, also cut the cake commemorating the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The attendees were then treated to a dinner by the chargé d’affaires ai.
Commander of the Yangon Region Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein and his wife, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun and his wife, Minister for Development of Yangon Region Government, the ambassadors and chargé d’affaires ai of the embassies in Myanmar, representatives of political parties, the patron and officials of the China-Myanmar Friendship Association (Central), businessmen and invitees attended the ceremony. — MNA/KZW
