Furthermore, the High-Level Task Force also had an interface meeting with the Executive Directors of the ASEAN Foundation and the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation to exchange view on drafting the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision.
At the meeting, the deputy minister shared the view that the HLTF should consider the development gaps among ASEAN Member States in drafting the Post-2025 Vision, the vision should be a pragmatic approach which is necessary to assist people-centred development in the region and it is also pertinent to include the mid-term reviews to be able to assess, adapt and respond to the unpredictable future issues and challenges.
The establishment of the High-Level Task Force (HLTF) was agreed at the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits which were held on 16 October 2022 with the aim of developing the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision. The High-Level Task Force is composed of Eminent Persons and High-Level Representatives from ASEAN Member States. – MNA
