Myanmar hosts 9th National Contact Points of ASEAN Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (ARASFF), 7th Steering Committee of ASEAN Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (ARASFF-SC) meetings online

Myanmar hosted the ninth meeting of the National Contact Points of the ASEAN Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (ARASFF) and the seventh meeting of the Steering Committee of the ASEAN Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (ARASFF-SC) online on 4 and 5 April.
The meetings were presided by Deputy Director-General Dr Thanda Kyi of the Planning Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, and attended by the relevant officials of the Agriculture Department, Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, Fisheries Department, FDA and Consumer Affairs Department.
During the meetings, the delegates of member countries discussed food safety issues and other matters. — MNA
