Nationwide immunization campaign conducted as usual

Inoculation drive is underway for local Wa people in Tachilek.

The doctors, nurses and health workers of public hospitals, including Tatmadaw medics and volunteers, are working together in vaccination processes across the nation.
The monks, nuns and the people over the age of 55, inmates, the people with disabilities, EAOs and the patients with chronic diseases and the internally displaced persons at the IDP camps are also vaccinated against COVID-19 daily.
A total of 955 people in Kyaukme and Hsipaw townships of northern Shan State, 1,200 Wa ethnic people in Tachilek Township and 1,960 people in Kengtung, Mongpyin and Mongton townships of eastern Shan State, 8,064 people in 12 townships of Mon and Kayin states, 1,318 people in Myeik Township of Taninthayi Region, 6,149 people in five townships of Yangon Region, 5,619 people in 11 townships of Ayeyawady Region, 1,506 Bengalis at rescue camps in Sittway and Pauktaw townships, 5,419 people in seven townships of Rakhine State and 38,520 people in seven districts of Mandalay Region received their vaccines yesterday.
The respective region military commanders inspected the vaccination processes and provided the necessary things. —MNA
