Nay Pyi Taw to host Youth & Literature Festival on 20-22 Dec

The Youth and Literature Festival is scheduled for 20 to 22 December at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, as announced by the Information and Public Relations Department.
U Kyaw Zin Soe, the department’s deputy director-general, stated, “We organize this annual festival to celebrate the 76th Independence Day. Thirteen ministries will collectively present 60 to 70 exhibitions to share knowledge with the youth.”
The festival will include book sales, displays of notable works and photos of remarkable 20th-century authors, cultural exhibitions and cuisines representing ethnic groups, games, and entertainment programmes, he added.
Students from the high school in Nay Pyi Taw, along with students from universities and colleges in Mandalay Region, and families of Nay Pyi Taw staff will attend the event.
The exhibition will run from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. — ASH/NT
