Brazilian MMA fighter John Lineker, “Hands of Stone”, beat American fighter Troy Worthen “Pretty Boy” via knockout at 4:35 minutes of Round one in the main card of the Men’s Bantamweight title fight of ONE Championship TNT III showdown at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore yesterday.
Both fighters made brilliant tactics throughout the bout. However, Linker could finish the great fight with his solid chokes plus punches even at the 4:35 minutes mark of Round one.
Upon his victory, John Lineker spoke out of his heartfelt feeling.
“I came here to be a champ,” Lineker said following his victory. “I want Bibiano. I know that I am better than him. I am the best, and I will show all the world that I will be the best in the world.”
Next in the Men’s Flyweight Mixed Martial Arts fight, Yuya Wakamatsu “Little Piranha” defeats Reece McLaren “Lightning” via unanimous decision.
In the Lead Card or Men’s Lightweight MMA Fight, Ok Rae Yoon made a win over Marat “Cobra” Gafurov via a unanimous decision.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s Strawweight MMA Fight, Miao Li Tao beat Ryuto Sawada, “Dragon Boy”, via a unanimous decision.
In the Catch Weight (80.8KG) Muay Thai bout, Nieky Holzken “The Natural” beat John Wayne Parr via Technical Knockout at 1:23 minutes of round two.—GNLM
