Police seized more than K2.21 billion worth of drugs in Taunggyi Township of Shan State (South).
At about 4 pm on 22 November, the combined team comprising members of the Anti-narcotics Task Force examined the six-wheeled Fuso vehicle driven by Aung Kyaw Min (aka) Andrew and Sai Oo Maung (aka) Sai Maung on Bayintnaung road in Lanmadaw Ward of Taunggyi Township.
They seized 112 kilograms of ice (methamphetamine) and 400,000 amphetamine tablets worth more than K2.21 billion at the scene. The two suspects will be taken action in line with the law. — MNA
