Senior military officers, officials oversee rehabilitation tasks in Rakhine, Chin states

The State Administration Council has released announcements for Mocha-hit areas declaring natural disaster-affected regions under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law and assigned senior military officers to the respective regions to conduct rehabilitation processes.
Lt-Gen Lu Aye, currently in Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State, along with officials, inspected the clearing of garbage from drains in Thanpanchaung Ward yesterday, and giving medical services to locals at Ngalapwe Monastery in Ngalapwe Ward.
Similarly, Lt-Gen Aye Win, currently in Buthidaung in Rakhine State, together with officials, also inspected the drainage system in Myothit Ward and provided supplies to the residents from 16 Mocha-hit village-tracts at U Ottama Hall.
Moreover, Maj-Gen Thaung Htike Shwe, who is in MraukU, together with officials paid homage to Sayadaws at Maha Pyanyar Thiha Rama Pariyatti Monastery in Alelzay Ward and Yadana Tayza Ramma Monastic School in Sinchaseik Ward and donated cash provided by Disaster Management Department on 19 June.
Brig-Gen Nay Win Aung, currently in Paletwa of Chin State, along with officials, handed over cash assistance to repair the schools and religious buildings in Hmonetanone, Mawsonegyi, Kyetmaaine (East), Kyaukpyinhtaunt and Kyaukphyar villages to the relevant village officials at township General Administrative Department office yesterday. — MNA/KTZH
