State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds separate meetings with Security Council Secretary of Russian Federation, Director-General of Rosoboronexport Company

State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is currently in the Russian Federation held a meeting with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mr Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev at the Secretariat of the Security Council at 10:30 am local standard time yesterday.
They frankly exchanged views on cooperation in security measures between the two governments of both countries, political changes in Myanmar, the leadership role of the Tatmadaw in the national politics of Myanmar, plan to enhance the existing friendly relations between the two countries and the two armed forces and cooperation in all sectors.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Security Council Secretary of the Russian Federation exchanged emblems and commemorative gifts.
At 9 am local standard time, the Senior General and party received Director-General Mr Alexander A. Mikheev and the party of Rosoboronexport Company at Metropol Hotel to talk about cooperation in military technologies and political changes.
The Senior General exchanged gifts with the Director-General of Rosoboronexport Company. —MNA
